Girls State Runner-Up, boys 3rd in indoor

The Homewood Indoor Track and Field teams completed their season at the AHSAA State Championships yesterday at the CrossPlex in Birmingham.  The girls added to the program's trophy collection by earning the State Runner-Up Trophy.  The girls ended up 10 points behind Pelham.  That is the 11th Runner-Up trophy for the Track & Field and Cross Country program at Homewood to go with the 11 State Championships. The boys finished 3rd, just 4 points behind 2nd place Northridge.  Here is a list of State Champions, All-State athletes, and those who scored points by placing in the top 8.
